This Privacy Policy explains how INNERO, Inc. ("INNERO", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). We only collect what we need to deliver your experience — nothing more.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Account details such as name and email address.
  • Your responses, preferences, and interactions within the Services.
  • Content you create in the app, such as notes and tasks.
  • Communications you send to us, including support requests.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and browser information, including IP address, device type, and operating system.
  • Usage data such as features used and timestamps.
  • Push notification tokens, if you enable notifications.
  • Cookies on our website (see "Cookies and Analytics" below). Our mobile apps do not use cookies.

Payment information:

Subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play are processed entirely by Apple or Google — we never receive or store your payment card details for in-app purchases. For web purchases via Stripe, Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy; we do not store full card numbers.

2. Why We Require an Account

Certain core features of INNERO — including personalized daily actions, progress tracking, streak history, and evolving insights — depend on persistent data tied to your profile. An account is required so we can store your activity history, deliver content tailored to you, and maintain your progress across sessions and devices. You can explore the personality assessment and view a preview of your results without creating an account.

3. Why We Process Your Information

Everything we collect serves a specific purpose:

  • To provide and personalize the Services — we use your responses and activity to deliver your personalized experience, including insights, recommendations, and progress tracking. (Basis: performing our contract with you.)
  • To maintain your account — we use your email to authenticate you and keep your data secure. (Basis: contract.)
  • To process payments — subscription details are shared with Apple, Google, or Stripe solely to complete your purchase. (Basis: contract.)
  • To send notifications — push notifications are sent only with your permission. (Basis: your consent.)
  • To communicate with you — we send account-related and security emails as needed, and marketing emails only if you haven't opted out. (Basis: legitimate interest for transactional; consent for marketing.)
  • To improve the Services — we use aggregated, anonymous usage data to understand what works and fix issues. (Basis: legitimate interest.)
  • To keep things safe — we use technical data to prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents. (Basis: legitimate interest.)
  • To comply with the law — when legally required, we may process or retain data as needed. (Basis: legal obligation.)

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information and never have. We share data only when necessary:

  • Service providers — cloud hosting, push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and analytics partners that help us operate the Services, bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Payment processors — Apple, Google, or Stripe to process your subscriptions.
  • Analytics — Google Tag Manager to understand usage patterns (subject to your cookie consent on the website).
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or governmental request.
  • Business transactions — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and Google Tag Manager for analytics. In regions that require it (such as the EU/EEA and UK), we show a consent banner before enabling analytics cookies — you can accept or reject. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Some website features may not function properly without cookies.

Our mobile applications do not use browser cookies.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed:

  • Account and service data — retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted and no longer processed.
  • Transaction records — purchase and subscription records may be retained in anonymized form for accounting and legal purposes.
  • Analytics data — retained in aggregated or anonymized form for up to 26 months.
  • Support communications — retained for up to 12 months after resolution.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL) and secure server infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Email Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails such as account and security notices. We may also send marketing communications where permitted. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting support@innero.me. Transactional emails may still be sent as necessary for your account.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — delete your account directly from Settings in the app, or contact us. Your personal data will be deleted and no longer processed.
  • Data portability — request your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for marketing or cookies at any time.
  • Object or restrict processing — in certain circumstances, you may object to or restrict our processing.
  • Complaint — you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings within the app. Deleting your account removes your personal data and stops all processing. You can also manage push notifications through your device settings. To exercise any other right, contact us at support@innero.me — we aim to respond within 30 days.

For California residents:

Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To submit a request, email support@innero.me.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. International Data Transfers

INNERO is based in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services integrate with third-party platforms (including Apple, Google, Firebase, and Stripe). These services have their own privacy policies and data practices. We encourage you to review their policies. INNERO is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. If we make significant changes, we may also notify you by email or in-app notification.
